She did it again: Elizabeth Warren put out there a platitude. This time, as The Guardian captured, was the cliche that the US Supreme Court lost legitimacy with the decision to gut “Roe v Wade.”
We know that. We knew it as soon as we read the draft of the Samuel Alito opinion on the coming decision.
Then Warren goes on to advocating increasing the number of justices on SCOTUS. But is anyone listening to her?
What’s the lesson to be learned here? Maybe academics shouldn’t get into politics. They usually fail in the art and science of messaging.
