Who Makes The Best Gloves (Nitrile vs Latex)? Venom Steel vs Grease Monkey, Hardy, Phantom, Raven, Gloveworks

I hate wearing nitrile or latex gloves when working on cars. I am not a fan of gloves in general, because I just don’t like not having the feel for what I’m trying to do. But they are important. In recent years I’ve seen first-hand accounts of blood contamination in mechanics who are constantly working with chemicals. It’s not to say we have to wear gloves all the time, but certainly while working with grease, oil, and other harsh chemicals. Edd China has put on some interesting talks about gloves and other PPE and I think some of it is interesting. So if I’m going to wear gloves for certain projects, I want to know how the different brands stack up and whether I need to spend money on the good stuff or stick with the cheapies?

This Project Farm video is all about testing different latex and nitrile gloves to see which material is better and which brand is better than the others. Check it out below.

Video Description:

Rubber Gloves: Hardy (Harbor Freight) vs Adenna, Comfy Package, RX Pro, GMG, Grease Monkey, GripProtect, Phantom, Silverback, Venom Steel, Raven, Gloveworks, HDX, Safeskin. Gloves compared for abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, stretch and strength before and after chemical exposure, and tear resistance. I purchased all of the gloves and supplies used to test the gloves to ensure an unbiased review. So, thank you for supporting the channel.
